Influence of surge on electromagnetic environment in the mine pump house

Abstract：Energy distribution characteristic of the surge was analyzed, and the frequency of surge under radiated dis-turbance was measured and the maximum was 1 MHz. Spectrum analyzer was used to measure electromagnetic noises in the center pump house during the motor start and stop. The results show that the surge has an influence to electro-magnetic radiation environment in mine pump house. The electromagnetic radiation has no hazardous effects to human body, but can affect the function of supervision equipments, communication and control systems.
