Distribution rules of additional force and secondary ground pressure stress of shaft wall in seepage sedimentation

Abstract：Based on the mechanic and deformation eharaeteristies of shaft wall in seepage sedimentation, the deforma-tion area was divided plastically deformation area, upper and lower elastic deformation area. With help of axisymmetric principle, elastic theory, statie indeterminate problem solving method, the calculation formulas and distribution regulari-ty of ground pressure stress and vertical additional force acting on the shaft were obtained. The calculation results were approach to the actual observed results.
