Abstract：First introduced detection methods like direct survey,geophysical method,chemical method and drilling for underground coal fire,summarized the advantages and disadvantages of each method.Then summarized the new technologies of underground coal fire extinguishing.Finally analyzed and summarized extinction effect of new tech-nology.
