Monte Carlo simulation on measurement characteristics of coal online soft sensor in boiler

Abstract：Monte Carlo simulation on measurement characteristics of coal online soft sensor in utility boiler were carried out , and virtual samples were obtained to analyze the measurement dispersion and evaluate the combined standard uncertainties. The results show that coal online soft sensor in utility boiler can measure on coal calorific values and most of element contents, and can be easily matched with efficiency monitoring system, coal online soft sensing technique is practice valuable in power plant.
