Properties and effects of process solvent of direct coal liquefaction in PDU test runs

Abstract：In 6 t/d PDU of coal liquefaction, Shangwan coal was hydrotreated with initial solvent of pre-hydrogena-ted wash oil and anthracene oil to examine property change of process recycle solvent and effects on the operation and products. The results show that in initial stage of test run, the coal liquefaction reaction, product characteristics , coal slurry properties and pressure of coal slurry pre-heater are affected with initial solvent changes, and after run of 14 days, effects of initial solvent are eliminated and solvent properties tend to stabilize.
