Abstract:Based on the rapid coagulation theory, agglomerating models of fine particles during the diffusion and spray process were developed combining dynamic properties of particles and analysis of the interaction of droplets and particulates. Based on the model, coagulation rate constant and the influences of different original parameters were calculated. The final results show that the diffusion effect on agglomeration is obvious when the particle diameters are smaller than 0. 1 microns and if they are larger the diffusion effect need not be considered. Under the condition of the same droplets diameters, the agglomerate efficiency increases with the increase of the agglomerant solution rate. Under the condition of the same atomization quality, the agglomerate efficiency increases with the increase of the particle diameters. Under the same condition of the particle diameters, the agglomerate efficiency increases with the decrease of the droplet diameters.
