Abstract:Based on actual tunnel excavation project, the three-dimensional finite element model of tunnel excavation was set up, including the three conditions when excavating tunnel was above, to the left of and below the existing tunnel respectively, and the particle vibration velocity and stress distribution were analyzed at the existing adjacent tunnel concrete lining. The calculation results show that longitudinal wave reaches the side of blasting first, and thus the vertical peak particle vibration velocity is far greater than that in the other two directions. With the propagation of wave, attenuation index of longitudinal wave is greater than that of Rayleigh-wave. Border influences particle vibration law, and the attenuation index of peak particle vibration velocity in abrupt change border is greater than that in gradual change border. In addition, the ability of arch structure withstanding blasting load is greater than that of the plane structure.
