Abstract：By means of analyzing relationship between ground temper ature and three key factors that oxidizing and heat-releasing property of coal, heat storing and oxygen-supplying condition of spontaneous combustion, some results, include a relation formula between coal temperature and velocity of exhausting oxygen, intensity of releasing heat and two formulas about thermal air pressure and prerequ isite for temperature raising, were deduced. Meanwhile, experiment was done on spontaneous combustion experimental platform. The investigation results show that oxidizing and heat releasing capacity of coal is strengthened and heat storing and oxygen-supplying condition of spontaneous combustion are improved be cause of ground temperature.
