Abstract：Through theoretical analysis on acquisition methods and field tests,
a method of increasing seismic exploration resolution is presented. It makes some analysis and experiments from the aspects of seismic source as well geophone and instrument parameters choosing. The impact on increa sing the resolution of seismic exploration are discussed. By means of practical application and effect analysis, it has proved that the method of increasing seismic exploration resolution is both effective and feasible. The frequency band of seismic refec tion signal is increased from 200 Hz to 300～400 Hz, and the resolving ability of seismic exploration is increased further for small structure.
