Abstract：The separating equipments for larger particles by centrifugal force have obvious advantage over those by gravitational field, then how about fine particles? The floating separation equipment is introduced for fine slime by only centrifugal force——float-hydrocyclone, its performance and separating principle are analyzed,and the concept of noncontacting mineralization is proposed. The development and application of the device provides an entirely new approach to the floating separating of fine slime.
