Abstract：The physical mechanical mechanism of the ash grouting into separated strata to slow down the surface subsidence is determined,the relation between the volume of separated strata and ash,and the rate of water and ash has been defined. With the simulated test,the tendency of strata develop,the place of the grouting,the state of the ash in the separated strata and the relation between grouting and mining are defined. As a result,the supporting of the ash against overlying layer has been confirmed. It provides the important achievement for the technical practice.
