Abstract:According to a leakage and falling phenomenon locally occurred in the igneous rock intrusion area when the west wing rail roadway was driven in the-500 m level of East Baowei Mine,Shuangyashan,a site measurement, lab experiment, theoretical analysis and numericalsimulation combined method was applied to analyze the causes. The analysis results showed that the igneous rock in the intrusion area would have the softening characteristics with water, the cracking in the surrounding rock along the gateway was well developed, the scale was deep and local support strength was not sufficient. Those causes jointly caused the leakage and falling occurred. With the analysis on the surrounding rock failure and the leakage and falling occurred in the mine roadway, the study showed that the max main stress and a vertical direction included angle in the surrounding rock would be the major factors to cause the asymmetric deformation of the mine roadway and the leakage and falling characteristics. When the angle was about 45°,the plastic area distribution characteristics of the mine roadway in the mine roadway and surrounding rock failure characteristics of the mine roadway as well as the leakage and falling characteristics could be met.An analysis was conducted on the support coefficients. The rational treatment measures of the goaf were provided and the results could provide the references to the analysis on the leakage and falling phenomenon of the similar roadway and the failure phenomenon.
