Optimization and Engineering Practices on Support Parameters of Seam Gateway with Broken Roof
Abstract：In order to solve the difficult support problem of the seam gateway with broken roof in Shaping Mine, with the measurement and test of the physical and mechanical properties of the coal and rock in the seam roof and floor, the FLAC3D numerical simulation software was applied to analyze the deformation features of the gateway surrounding rock under the different support conditions. The results showed that when the length of the anchor was 8 000 ram, the subsidence of the gateway roof would be small and could meet the actual require- ments of the project. When the combined support plan with the bolt ＋ anchor ＋ reinforced bar mesh was applied, the mechanics status of the gateway surrounding rock was remarkably improved and the driving speed of the gateway was increased by 20%.
