Gas Over Limit Control Technology of Top Corner in Coal Mining Face of Low Gassy Mine
Abstract：During the advancing forward process of a coal mining face,gas emission from the goaf and the mining seam could often cause gas over limit problems of top corner in coal mining face.With an enhanced ventilation volume method,fan drainage method,positive air pressure dilution method,gas drainage method with total discharging negative pressure,gas drainage method with a total discharged negative pressure and other method,an industrial trial of gas control was conducted in the coal mining face of Shanxi Poly Tiexin Mine.The experiment results showed that when the gas drainage technology with improved total negative pressure applied to the gas drainage of the top corner,the gas fraction of the top corner reduced from 1.6% with normal ventilation to 0.4% and the top corner gas content was effectively reduced.
