New Head Rope Replacement Technique of Mine Frictional Hoist and Application
Abstract：A new head rope replacement technique was introduced for the mine frictional hoist.A special U type fastener would be applied to fasten the used and new ropes together.With the winch in operation,the used rope could drive the new rope down to the mine shaft bottom.With the hydraulic rope adjustment device and the fast rope locker on the mine shaft headframe,the used rope would be replaced by the new rope and then the used and new rope replacement could be conducted with the reversed operation of the hoist.This method could highly reduce the application of large temporary facilities and the safety risks of the operations in the mine shaft and could reduce the construction time.This method could provide the related references to the head rope replacement of the mine hoist.
