Research and application of pressure relief gas extraction technology

Abstract：Focusing on the technical challenges of unloading gas in the protective layer of close range coal seam group mining of Pan-jiang Clean Coal Co.,Ltd.,the technology of pressure relief gas extraction from adjacent layers by drilling through layers under pressure cutting was studied based on the analysis of development of mining induced fractures and gas flow patterns.By pre extracting gas from the protected layer before mining and efficiently extracting gas from adjacent layers to relieve pressure during mining,the main channel for the formation of separation layer cracks after mining was intercepted,effectively controlling the influx of gas from adjacent layers into the mining space.The application effect of pressure relief gas extraction technology in Shanjiaoshu Coal Mine is significant,which solves the problem of gas gushing from adjacent layers into the mining space of working face,ensures safety production,and has good applica-tion and promotion value.
