Research and application of dust reduction device with linkage and joint control for coal mine fully-mechanized tunneling machine

Abstract：In response to the requirements of the"Coal Mine Safety Regulations"for linkage control of dust reduction at the transfer point of the fully-mechanized tunneling machine,a dust reduction device with linkage and joint control based on air-water mixing atom-ization was designed for the poor dust reduction effect in A4303 return airway of a mine in Xinjiang.Through solenoid valve and pres-sure relay,it realizes synchronous control with the starting of fully-mechanized tunneling machine,and adopts air-water two-phase spray technology(compressed air mixed with water),which significantly improves the atomization effect and coal dust wetting ability.On-site application shows that the device reduces the dust production rate at the transfer point by 74％to 81％,and solves the problem of nozzle blockage by adding a water purification device.
