Research on hydraulic connection of limestone groundwater in north wing No.1 coal floor of Guqiao Coal Mine

Abstract：Using data from drilling,geophysical exploration,pumping tests,sampling tests,and long-term observation of water levels in 49 limestone hydrogeological boreholes in the northern wing of Guqiao Coal Mine,a detailed investigation into the lithological composi-tion and thickness of limestone in north wing No.1 coal floor,as well as the water levels of the limestone groundwater was conducted.A comprehensive analysis was conducted on the hydraulic connection between limestone and groundwater,and it was concluded that there is a hydraulic connection between the C3Ⅰ group limestone aquifer and the C3Ⅱ group limestone aquifer,a weak hydraulic connection between the C3Ⅱ group limestone aquifer and the C3Ⅲ group limestone aquifer,and a hydraulic connection between the C3Ⅲ group limestone aquifer and the Ordovician limestone aquifer.This provides reliable geological basis for ground area management,drainage and pressure reduction,and other water prevention and control plans.
