Abstract:The annual power consumption of the main ventilator in a certain mine is 23 million kW·h.In order to reduce the energy consumption of the main ventilator and ensure the safety and reliability of ventilation system,a ventilation dynamic regulation system based on sensor network has been developed and configured.By collecting real-time gas and wind speed data, intelligent analysis was conducted on the production conditions of mining face, and the main ventilator speed and air volume were automatically adjusted.A 6-month application test was conducted on the No.110 and No.120 working faces of mine. The results show that the ventilation dynamic regulation system automatically adjusts the air volume based on the operating conditions of coal mining machine and changes in the con-centration of harmful gases in working face, avoiding excessive air supply. The energy consumption of main ventilator is reduced by 15.3%,and the annual electricity cost is saved by 3.15 million yuan.Meanwhile, the measured data indicates that the concentration of harmful gases such as methane and carbon monoxide in working face continues to be maintained within a safe range, verifying the relia-bility and practicality of this technology.
