Abstract:To address the hidden dangers and threats posed by reservoir water storage to coal mine safety, the impact of Jinsha Hydro-power Station water storage on Taiping Coal Mine was taken as the research object.Theoretical analysis, grouting treatment, geophysical detection, and hydrological monitoring methods were comprehensively adopted to analyze potential risks brought by reservoir water level rise to the mine, and evaluate effectiveness of grouting treatment measures. The results indicate that after the impoundment of Jinsha Hy-dropower Station, the potential mine water hazards for Taiping Coal Mine mainly include seepage flow hazards, risks of old kiln and goaf, and risks of fault water diversion.According to the spatial relationship between Jinsha River and mineable coal seams, changes in water level and inundation range before and after water storage, the impact of infiltration and recharge of aquifers on mine, the possibility of fault communication between mine and Jinsha River, the influence of old kiln and other water channels,it is believed that the impact on coal mine is relatively small.Through geophysical exploration and hydrological detection data analysis,it is believed that the governance effect of carrying out surface grouting reinforcement, underground prevention and control engineering, and monitoring system construction has achieved expected goals. The research results can provide reference for disaster prevention and control in similar areas.
