Abstract:In order to deeply investigate the coal seam gas flow characteristics and the influence of coal body disturbance on gas emis-sion in the process of mining, based on the theory of coal seam gas flow,a flow-solid coupling model of the permeability coefficient of the mining coal body was established.Numerical simulation was carried out by using Comsol Multiphysics software to analyze the distri-bution law of the seepage field of the coal body and the change characteristics of the gas emission from the coal wall under different con-trol factors. The study shows that the coal seam gas pressure and gas content are positively correlated, the gas seepage field of the coal body is mainly driven by the gas pressure gradient, and the gas flow rate is larger in the vicinity of the coal roadway and smaller in the depth of the coal seam;the mining load reduces the porosity of the coal body, and the permeability coefficient is reduced, which ultimately leads to a decrease in the amount of gas emission;after being loaded, the amount of gas emission from the coal wall decreases with the in-crease of external force, and the amount of gas emission is higher when not loaded;the higher the initial gas content, the higher the gas e-mission amount;and the coal wall gas emission has a good linear relationship with the initial gas content. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the accurate prediction of the gas emission law in coal mines.
