Abstract：Based on the current production situation of Shuangyang Coal Mine,the necessity of building a new auxiliary shaft was de-scribed.Three wellhead location schemes were proposed for the new auxiliary shaft.After technical and economic comparison,it is deter-mined to build a new auxiliary shaft 41.8 m southwest of the west wing air shaft,select shaft equipment,determine the shaft construction method and freezing depth,optimize the auxiliary transportation and ventilation system in the western area of the mine,and provide pro-ject decision-making reference.
