Development and application of automatic adjustment system for coal feeder discharge gate of thin coal

Abstract：A PLC controlled automatic adjustment system for the discharge coal gate of the a-belt coal feeder was designed to address the phenomenon of coal sloshing caused by the coal falling from the main coal bin into the a-belt coal feeder being thin coal.The system es-tablishes four levels of risk avoidance.Firstly,the gate is closed to a large degree according to the risk avoidance level,and then PID fuzzy control is used to restore the conveying volume.At the same time,simulation experiments are conducted on the PLC,and it is ana-lyzed that the opening degree of the gate can be adjusted in real time through the PLC controller.The experiment and application in the Sanyuan Coal Industry have achieved the prevention and treatment of coal mining accidents.
