Study on flexibility of thermal electrolytic coupling to improve the unit
ZHAO Qiang
Abstract:Jiangsu Xukuang Comprehensive Utilization Power Generation Co.,Ltd.implemented heating transformation to replace three thermal power plants and and 69 small boilers in the surrounding heating area, undertaking the heating needs for industrial production and residential heating in the entire area. With the increase in the share of new energy power generation and foreign electricity in East China year by year, the power grid has higher requirements for the peak regulation capacity and performance of traditional thermal power units.Heating system output is proportional to the load of the steam turbine, during the winter large-flow heating,it is necessary to main-tain a high electrical load,AGC regulation ability is insufficient, facing the problems such as burning red legs of the feeder and intensif-ying wear on the heating surface caused by long-term full load operation of fluidized bed boilers,it is imperative to carry out thermal e-lectrolytic coupling to improve the flexibility of the unit.
