Abstract:New quality productivity is an important driving force for industrial transformation and upgrading. This study selects the relevant panel data of resource-based cities in Heilongjiang province from 2013 to 2022 for empirical analysis to study the coupling coordination and coordinated development of new quality productivity and industrial transformation and upgrading. The results show that in the time dimension, the coupling coordination degree of new quality productivity and industrial transformation and upgrading in resource-based cities of Heilongjiang province has deepened rapidly, the coupling coordination type has changed from moderate imbalance to good coordination;in the difference structure, the coupling coordination degree value of forest-type resource-based cities is the highest, followed by coal-type and finally oil-type;in the spatial dimension, the coupling coordination degree shows a clustered characteristic;in the driving factors, investment in energy conservation and environmental protection and digital popularization ability are important influencing factors for the coupling coordination and coordinated development of new quality productivity and industrial transformation and upgrading in resource-based cities of Heilongjiang province.Based on the results, suggestions are proposed to explore the potential for coordinated development, optimize the clustered spatial layout, formulate regional difference policies and promote the digital production mechanism.
