Abstract:The digital economy and green low-carbon development have become inherent demands for sustainable development in today's society, economy and environment. It is of great practical significance to study the coupling coordination relationship between the two using a coupling coordination model, and to explore the key factors that affect the coupling coordination development of the two using a grey correlation model. This article is based on panel data from 11 provinces and cities in western China from 2019 to 2022,measuring the development level of digital economy and green low-carbon,and exploring the spatiotemporal coupling evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the two.The results show that the level of digital economy and the level of green and low-carbon development have shown a fluctuating upward trend. The overall coupling coordination degree in the western region continues to rise, entering the primary coupling coordination stage, and the coupling coordination degree of various provinces and cities has fluctuated slightly;Environmental governance, communication status, internet development status, and ecological environment are important factors affecting the coupling and coordination of the two.
