Study on the influence of the development of new quality productivity on the efficiency of environmental governance

Abstract：Under the background of accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces in China,what impact will the development of new quality productive forces have on the efficiency of ecological environment governance?This paper uses Tobit model,mediating effect model and threshold effect model to explore the impact of the development of new quality productivity on the efficiency of environmental governance and its mechanism.The results show that:① the development of new quality productivity can significantly improve the efficiency of environmental governance;② From the perspective of mechanism,the development of new quality productivity can improve the efficiency of environmental governance by promoting the upgrading of industrial structure and green scientific and technological innovation;③ Heterogeneity analysis reveals that in economically developed regions,regions with a lower industrial level,and regions with a higher level of green technological innovation,the development of new quality productivity has a more significant impact on environmental governance efficiency.
