Research on the impact of digital inclusive finance on energy intensity in Three Northeastern Provinces of China:Based on the mediating effect of technological innovation

Abstract：Based on the panel data of 34 prefecture-level cities in Three Northeastern Provinces of China from 2012 to 2022,this paper empirically analyzes the influence of digital inclusive finance on the energy intensity of this region from the perspective of technological innovation by using fixed effect model and intermediary effect test.The results show that:① Digital inclusive finance has a significant positive effect on reducing energy intensity,and the results are stable.At the same time,its two sub-dimensions,namely coverage and depth of use,can also promote the reduction of energy intensity.② Technological innovation has a complete mediating effect in the relationship between digital inclusive finance and energy intensity.③ Digital inclusive finance has different effects on energy intensity in different provinces.Based on this,the research puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of improving infrastructure construction,developing digital inclusive finance,promoting industrial structure upgrading and increasing technical innovation support.
