Abstract:Taking Shanxi Province as a typical representative of Resource-based Provinces,MRIO is applied to measure it's total carbon emission in 2012,2015 and 2017 from multidimensional perspective, analyzing carbon emission structure of income side and consumption side, exploring spatial flow evolutionary characteristics of carbon emission from various industrial sectors.Furthermore,SPA is employed to identify the top 20 paths that contribute most to Shanxi's carbon emission. The results show that:There is a trend of convergence in the responsibility for carbon emission from a multidimensional perspective, with labor compensation and net revenue constituting most of the income-side carbon emission, while residential and government consumption increasingly drive consumption-side emissions;Production-side emissions mainly outflow from the province via the electricity and heat production and processing industries, particularly to Guangdong,Jiangsu, and Zhejiang; There is a decline in the carbon emission contribution of Shanxi's top 20 emission pathways annually,Among them, the electricity and heat production and processing industry and the construction industry contribute the most to the carbon emissions of Shanxi Province. Therefore,to enhance the rationality and feasibility of RBPs' total carbon emission control systems,it is crucial to comprehensively consider the multidimensional responsibilities of various regions and industries within the overall carbon emission spatio-temporal system. This holistic approach will enable targeted formulation of carbon emission control targets at various levels.
