Abstract:Qinghai Province shoulders a crucial role in ecological protection strategy and must steadfastly implement the principles of ecological priority and green development. This study first conducted an in-depth analysis of the energy consumption and carbon emission characteristics in Qinghai, and explored specific situations for the first, second, and third industries respectively.By applying the LMDI model,we studied the driving factors and their relationship with economic growth, and the results showed that economic growth is the main factor leading to an increase in carbon emissions.Subsequently, this study further analyzed the relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions in Qinghai Province using the Tapio decoupling model. The research results showed that Qinghai Province and its various industries exhibited a diversified state in decoupling economic growth from carbon emissions. Finally, based on the connotation of new quality productivity, three suggestions are proposed:improving the quality and skills of workers, promoting cross disciplinary cooperation among workers, advancing the intelligent upgrading of production equipment, optimizing the energy supply system, and building a strategic"four regions"to compose a new chapter of the times,in order to achieve a win-win situation for promoting the development of new quality productivity in Qinghai while achieving the dual carbon goals.
