Comparison of trade competitiveness of coal machinery equipment between China,USA,and Germany and its influencing factors

Abstract：In recent years,China's coal machinery equipment technology has made remarkable progress,large coal machinery equipment has not only been widely used in the domestic market,but also won a good reputation in the international market.On this basis,it is of great significance to further expand the international market share of China's coal machinery equipment and enhance the international competitiveness of China's coal machinery equipment for China to build a new pattern of high-level opening up to the outside world.By measuring and comparing the IMS,RCA and TC of China and Germany,this paper finds that the trade competitiveness of China's coal machinery equipment is on the rise in the past ten years,showing stronger resilience than that of Germany.Secondly,using the time series data from 2006 to 2022 in China,a multiple regression model is established to empirically analyze the key driving factors affecting the export of coal machinery equipment.The results show that the foreign investment and application R & D investment level of coal machinery equipment manufacturing industry have a strong positive promoting effect on the export competitiveness of coal machinery equipment products.In order to enhance the competitiveness of coal machinery and equipment trade,we should optimize the investment environment,continue research and development and talent investment,consolidate policy support,and promote the high-quality development of coal machinery and equipment trade.
