Application of ultrasonic imaging logging in geological exploration

Abstract：With the progress and development of science and technology,logging technology has undergone many innovations,which can be roughly divided into four stages.At present,the fourth generation logging technology is high-definition imaging logging technology,which appeared in the late 1990s.This technology displays the collected logging data and geological information in the form of images after analysis and processing,and the data transmission of imaging logging is cable transmission.This method not only has good imaging quality,fast transmission speed,but also is more convenient to use.With the increase of imaging types and the research of interpretation theory,the application of imaging logging is becoming more and more widespread.In order to study the principle of ultrasonic imaging logging,sort out its application scope in the field of exploration,and solve the key technologies in the application of ultrasonic imaging logging technology,the development history of ultrasonic imaging and the technical status quo at home and abroad are first collected.Then the principle of ultrasonic imaging technology and acquisition system are studied,and the logging results of ultrasonic imaging logging in many directions in practical application are analyzed and sorted out,several ultrasonic imaging morphological characteristics and interpretation methods are summarized,and finally the main application direction and analysis methods of ultrasonic imaging logging technology are summarized.
