Study on effect and numerical simulation of double side gas drainage by ultra-long directional drilling

Abstract：this study focuses on the ultra-long directional drilling technology of double-side gas drainage,aiming to improve the efficiency of coal mine gas control.By means of numerical simulation,the influence of two-side gas extraction on gas extraction flow and concentration is analyzed.It is found that compared with traditional one-side extraction,double-side extraction significantly improves extraction efficiency,reduces coal seam gas concentration,and the decay rate of extraction flow is slower.This research not only provides the innovation in theory,but also has the important application value in the actual coal mine gas control,and provides the new technical path for the coal mine safety production.
