Abstract:Coal seams in North China type coalfields are mostly deposited on Ordovician limestone with abundant water.Mining disturbance may cause activation of faults or fissures to form water-conducting channels,as a result, the Ordovician limestone water is connected with the karst water in the thin limestone of Taiyuan Formation overlying the Ordovician limestone, which becomes the water-filling source of the mine, therefore, the study of karst hydrology geochemistry characteristics and hydrochemical evolution model is an important basic subject to ensure the safety of coal mining and identify the source of water inrush.Taking Yitanzhuang coal mine in the southwest of Yanzhou Coalfield as an example, this paper studies the chemical distribution characteristics of karst water and its indication to groundwater circulation, through the analysis of the relationship between the major ionic components of groundwater and the formation of the major geochemistry in the process of hydrologic evolution, the causes of formation of the chemical components of groundwater were revealed,it plays a guiding role in distinguishing the source of water inrush and preventing and controlling water.
