Abstract:As an important non-metallic non-renewable resource, phosphate rock has been listed in China's strategic mineral catalogue in 2016,Which plays a vital role in the national economy and human survival and development.Although China is rich in phosphate rock resources, the regional distribution and output are extremely uneven, and the consumption of high-quality phosphate rock is serious. Therefore,In this paper, the distribution characteristics of phosphorite resources in central and western China are briefly summarized, and three main types of phosphorite and their distribution characteristics in the study area are emphatically introduced.According to the typical metallogenic model, combined with the regional tectonic evolution characteristics and rock characteristics, the metallogenic favorable areas are put forward. The main genetic types of phosphate rock in the study area are sedimentary metamorphic, marine sedimentary and magmatic. The sedimentary metamorphic phosphate deposits in the study area are mainly formed in the shallow-semi-shallow sea sedimentary environment of Mesoproterozoic continental margin.Mainly distributed in Qilian metallogenic belt;Sedimentary phosphorite mainly formed the coastal-shallow sea environment from the end of Early Sinian to Early Cambrian, and mainly distributed in the uplift metallogenic belt on the northern margin of Tarim block,Dunhuang metallogenic belt,Alashan metallogenic belt, western Ordos metallogenic belt and Longmenshan-Dabashan metallogenic belt.Magmatic phosphorite deposits are distributed under the action of magmatic rocks in various tectonic periods, and are located in areas with active tectonic activities such as intraplate fault basins and tectonic orogenic belts.Mainly distributed in the central Qilian metallogenic belt and the northern Qinling metallogenic belt.A typical metallogenic model is established, and the favorable metallogenic area is delineated by combining the existing data.
