Current situation and development suggestions of ultra-high voltage transmission channels in China under thegoal of"Dual Carbon"

Abstract：Through literature review and current situation analysis,this article summarizes the current development status of ultra-high voltage transmission channels in China.A total of 39 ultra-high voltage projects have been put into operation,including 19 AC projects and 20 DC projects.Based on the development of the New Energy Base on the Desert,this paper analyzes the problems of reduced transmission efficiency,large allocation of thermal power occupying a certain amount of transmission space,increasingly scarce transmission channel and station resources,high pressure on parallel support of multiple projects,and shortcomings in key technologies in ultra-high voltage channels.And put forward relevant suggestions:first,strengthen top-level design,coordinate the reasonable layout of ultra-high voltage projects nationwide,second,strengthen innovation and application of key core technologies,increase research and application of flexible DC ultra-high voltage technology,and finally,strengthen the integration and development of ultra-high voltage projects with other industries.
