Abstract：The"dual carbon"goal is an important strategic measure made by China to address climate change,and it is China's plan to contribute to global climate governance.At this stage,the realization of the"dual carbon"goal is still facing severe practical challenges in terms of social cognition,technical level,policies and regulations,and industrial structure,and the proposal of new quality productive forces is highly consistent with the"dual carbon"goal,which is an important driving force for the realization of the"dual carbon"goal.The new quality productive forces empowers the realization of the"dual carbon"goal from four aspects:innovation-driven,new industrial chain,digitalization and green transformation.The main measures to achieve the"dual carbon"goal with new quality productive forces include:① Cultivating new green and low-carbon top-notch talents,② Breaking through emerging cutting-edge technologies for carbon reduction and emission reduction,③ Improving the carbon market carbon trading system,④ building a new energy system.
