Research status and prospect of carbon lock-in in China

Abstract：How to break the carbon lock state with high carbon characteristics in some fields is an important practical problem facing the high-quality development of China's economy,and the research on this issue should become the focus of academic circles.Based on the statistical results of domestic and foreign literature,this paper first analyzes the overall situation of the academic popularity,academic level,funded project level and the distribution of the major of carbon locking research in recent years.Then,it elaborates the domestic research progress from the aspects of basic implication,research theme and empirical research method.Finally,the limitations and future prospects of the study are put forward.The main conclusions include:In recent years,the academic heat and level of carbon lock-related research are generally on the rise,and its theoretical and practical value has been recognized and supported by authority.The definition and interpretation of related concepts such as industry lock-in and regional lock-in are clearer,the research theme is more focused,and the research perspective is gradually transferred from the whole to the industrial(regional)or micro level.Empirical research methods are no longer single,but tend to be multi-type comprehensive,and unified measurement standards and methods for carbon locking at different scenarios and levels will gradually be formed.Carbon locking in industries or regions closely combined with the dual carbon goals and the digital economy will become a research hot spot in the future.
