Abstract:The urban agglomeration network,as the main force of China's economic development,is a spatial unit with concentrated energy consumption and carbon emissions.Resource oriented cities with high carbon development levels during the embedding period are also the main battlefield for China to achieve the"dual carbon"goal.A theoretical model was constructed to investigate the impact of structural attributes such as network structure holes, point in degree, and point out degree on the innovation capacity of resource-based cities by introducing knowledge absorption capacity as a mediating variable. An empirical study was conducted on the Harbin Changsha urban agglomeration, where resource-based cities are relatively concentrated, and a regression equation model was constructed for empirical testing. The research results indicate that the closer the focal resource-based city is to the center of the network, the stronger its knowledge acquisition and control ability, and the higher its overall innovation level;the more resource-based cities occupy the positions of structural holes, the more mobile innovation information they obtain, and the stronger their innovation capabilities;the effective utilization and transformation of knowledge absorption capacity in resource-based cities have a positive impact on the improvement of their innovation ability.Resource oriented cities should be based on the top-level design of urban agglomeration networks to achieve peak carbon emissions, scientifically plan and enhance innovation capabilities, establish diverse connections with node cities in the structural holes and central positions of urban agglomeration networks, and promote the early realization of regional"dual carbon"goals.
