Research on the function orientation and development path of coal under the new energy system

Abstract：The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China calls for accelerating the planning and construction of a new energy system.China's coal-based resource endowment and energy supply structure are not only an important guarantee for energy security,but also a difficult task for low-carbon transformation.This paper systematically combed the development status of the coal industry,analyzes the basic characteristics of the new energy system and the new requirements for the development of coal energy,and put forward the functional positioning of coal as a basic guarantee energy,flexible adjustable energy and strategic reserve energy,as well as the coal development path under the functional positioning,in order to promote the high-quality development of the coal industry and help China's new energy system construction and the realization of the"Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization"goal.
