Abstract:To address the challenge of selecting an appropriate process for the in-situ treatment and reuse of complex mine water characterized by high hardness, high salinity, and excessive iron and manganese content,we proposed a treatment process consisted of"aeration and oxidation+coagulation and sedimentation+multi-media filtration+manganese sand filtration+reverse osmosis",featuring a short process chain, effective treatment performance, and stable effluent quality.A pilot test was conducted to validate its treatment efficiency.Experimental results demonstrate that this process consistently produces water with turbidity below 0.5 NTU,iron and manganese levels each below 0.1 mg/L,residual chlorine below 0.1 mg/L,and conductivity below 60 μS/cm,meeting the water quality requirements for underground production equipment.Furthermore, the reverse osmosis system maintains a stable water production rate of approximately 50%.This study provides valuable guidance for the selection of treatment processes in engineering designs aimed at the in-situ treatment and reuse of complex mine water with high hardness and high salinity in underground mining environments.
