Abstract:In response to the high risk of rockburst in gob-side working faces under conditions of kilometer-depth burial,extra-thick coal seams, and thick-hard roof strata at Hetaoyu Coal Mine,a hydraulic pressure relief technology system was developed and applied targeting low, medium, and high-level roof strata above the coal seam. The results show that the rock burst in the goaf roadway is affected by the superposition of the overhanging roof in the goaf, the mining stress of the working face itself, and the high roof fracture dynamic load after double-sided mining.Combining with the mine conditions,a local and regional hydraulic roof unloading technology system was proposed, using abrasive waterjet for lateral roof cutting, underground long-hole staged hydraulic fracturing, and surface regional fracturing of high-level roof strata to achieve lateral roof cutting, longitudinal roof breaking, and regional roof weakening. The engineering practice was carried out in the No.2803 working face.According to the the borehole peeping, transient electromagnetic detection, and micro seismic monitoring and analysis, the prevention and control effect of hydraulic roof unloading technology eas significant.Compared with the adjacent solid coal working face without hydraulic unloading measures, the micro seismic energy release and the on-site dynamic manifestation was significantly reduced.Ultimately,a hydraulic pressure relief technology system for thick-hard roof strata in gob-side working faces at Hetaoyu Coal Mine was established.
