Abstract:Given that the application of BIM technology in the coal industry has largely been limited to the design phase of surface coal preparation plants,we explored the integrated application of BIM with next-generation information technologies. We proposed multi-technology collaborative methods such as"BIM+Internet""BIM+GIS""BIM+IoT"and validated their effectiveness through typical engineering cases. At the Changcheng No.5 Mine storage-handling-transport system project,a cloud-based collaboration platform built on"BIM+Internet"enabled efficient cross-regional coordination during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring smooth project progress. At the Zaokuang Lianchuang coal storage and blending base,"BIM+GIS"integration optimized site planning and building layout, improved land use efficiency. In the design of Taohe Coal Mine,an integrated surface-underground 3D mine system was established, achieving multidimensional visualization of terrain, surface sites, and underground workings. For the shaft cooling system at Guotun Coal Mine,"BIM+IoT"technology embedded real-time equipment operational data into a lightweight BIM model, extended BIM's functionality to dynamic monitoring during the operation and maintenance phase. It was demonstrated that deep integration of BIM with information technologies can significantly enhance whole-life-cycle management capabilities in coal engineering. The study results provided key technical support for the industry's digital transformation.
