Abstract:In the Xinjietai Gemiao mining area, coal and natural gas occur in different strata vertically but overlap entirely horizontally. As it is difficult to develop two kinds of resources safely and efficiently under the coal-gas overlap senerio,a systematic study wass carried out by means of investigation, statistical induction and theoretical analysis. We studied the disaster factors, disaster processes and potential risk types of natural gas wells during coal and natural gas cross-exploitation in overlapping areas.Based on the constraint conditions of natural gas production layer, overburden aquifer, coal seam disclosure, exploitation disturbance and plugging standard,we put forward the three-dimensional whole-well optimization plugging technology. Then,we conducted field tests on abandoned natural gas wells, and the main parameters met the requirements. Finally,we further put forward the technical system of mining under the abandoned well and the disaster prevention in the mining face. The result can provide practical reference for the safe development of coal and natural gas in the overlapping area of mining rights in this region.
