Abstract:When protective layer mining is adopted as a regional anti-burst measure for prominent deeply buried coal seam groups, the distribution law of unloaded gas in the upper protected layer cannot be determined accurately. In order to accurately quantify the distribution law of unloading gas in the protected seam, according to the principle that the conservation of total mass of carbon and hydrogen isotopes before and after mixing,a three-end mixed-source gas accurate quantitative traceability model was established, and gas samples from the original gas of the coal seams of D5-6,E8,and E9-10 and mixed gas samples at different heights from the mining seam were collected, which were subjected to carbon and hydrogen isotopes tests. The results show that gas from D5-6,E8 and E9-10 seams accounts for16%,78%and 6%of the mixed gas, respectively. The proportions of pressure-relief gas from D5-6 coal seam at 8 times,10 times,12 times and 14 times mining height of E9-10 coal seam are 26%,31%,37%and 45%,respectively;while those from the E8 coal seam at the same location are 72%,66%,61%and 53%,respectively.The distribution of pressure-relief gas in the protected layer in the mining space was quantified, which can not only guide the accurate extraction of pressure-relief gas in the neighboring layers of the protected layer in the mining face, but also provide reference for evaluating the pressure-relief protection effect of the protected layer.
