Discussion on the design of blast resistant walls for buildings adjacent to gas extraction pump rooms

Abstract：To protect the safety of personnel in the buildings adjacent to gas extraction pump rooms,it is necessary to set up blast walls to separate areas with explosion hazards in the workshop.Due to the lack of relevant regulations in coal industry,there is currently no content related to blast resistant design.By referring to relevant blast resistant design specifications in the petrochemical industry,blast resistant chamber design specifications,and other literature,the characteristics,modes of action,and calculation of explosion shock wave related parameters of indoor and outdoor explosion loads were introduced.The process and formula application methods of blast resistant structural design were briefly explained.On this basis,combining with the layout of the Wangfeng Mine gas extraction station,the blast resistant wall was designed for the buildings adjacent to the gas extraction pump room,so as to protect the personnel working in them.
