Effect of mining speed on rock burst when working face crossing fault tectonic regime
GUO Wei
Abstract:The influence of mining speed on rock burst is significant.Taking the complex combined faults in the working face of Tunbao Coal Mine as the research background, based on theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field practice, the mechanism of the working face mining speed in the fault tectonic regime to induce rock burst is studied, and the result is verified in an engineering project. The results show that the different mining speeds mainly affect the caving degree of the roof in the working face goaf, and then affect the stress adjustment speed of the surrounding rock, which corresponds to the intensity of elastic energy release and the risk of rock burst. The increase of mining speed leads to the gradual increase of advance abutment pressure and lateral pressure peak of working face in fault tectonic regime, sudden change of stress peak is likely to happen, which accelerates the degree of fault damage and sudden change speed, resulting in early slip phenomenon in fault tectonic regime. The mining energy frequency of the working face in the fault tectonic regime has a good correlation with the mining speed. When the mining speed is greater than 4 m/d,the average energy of a single vibration increases by 6 times. It is suggested that the mining speed of the working face in the fault structure area of Tunbao Coal Mine should be less than 4 m/d,and the uniform mining should be maintained. The research results can provide theoretical guidance for the occurrence mechanism of rock burst and safe mining of working face under similar engineering conditions.
