Abstract:The CBM staged fracturing horizontal well technology is getting widely applied in coal mining area, while the former research mainly aimed at the technical adaptability and the technical front end,in this research we studied the evaluation metrics and evaluation method of the extraction effect. On the basis of revealing the main geological factors influencing the gas production, the evaluation metrics of the auxiliary outburst elimination effect was established, including the remaining maximum gas content and the remaining maximum reservoir pressure.According to the requirements and norms of gas extraction and control in coal mine, the evaluation unit for gas control and outburst prevention was defined as:the entire horizontal wellbore segment within the target coal seam, and the buffer zone 15~20 m extending laterally from both sides of the horizontal wellbore.According to the change of CBM content and reservoir pressure before and after extraction, the assistant outburst elimination effect can be divided as"good","medium"and"poor".In addition,a comprehensive evaluation method combining prediction simulation with borehole detection was proposed considering the particularity of extraction effect and the characteristics of different evaluation methods, the evaluation method was applied to the CBM01 well in Huainan mining area, and the gas outburst elimination effect was analyzed when the well was drained to 415 d and 829 d.The evaluation metrics and methods showed good applicability, and it proved that the horizontal well of CBM staged fracturing is efficient for gas control and gas outburst elimination in coal mining area.
