Abstract:To address the engineering challenge of accurately determining mining-induced floor damage depth in fractured zones,we proposed a seismic event energy density analysis method based on microseismic monitoring data, and applied the method to investigate floor failure characteristics during coal extraction in fractured zones, the results demonstrate that this method quantitatively evaluates the damage extent of floor strata, precisely identifies failure locations, intensities, and temporal evolution during mining, and determines the maximum floor damage depth under mining disturbances. These metrics enable systematic assessment of potential water-inrush pathways. The method was validated through implementation at the 1610A longwall face in Zhangji Coal Mine(Huainan Mining Area)during the coal extraction, the mining influence on each stratum of the floor was analyzed, with a maximum damage depth of 18 m,and the failure characteristics of the fractured zone in each rock stratum was obtained.
