Abstract:To address the challenges posed by frequent variations in dip angles and mining lengths within inclined fully mechanized longwall faces,we took the No.250107-1 working face at Huating Coal Mine as an engineering prototype. The impact of mining length changes on normal production of the working face was analyzed, and the prerequisite for achieving constant mining length was obtained, which is to design open-of and determine the numbers of hydraulic supports and scraper conveyor line pans according to the length of the orthogonally inclined working face at the maximum elevation difference position of the mining roadway.Through rigorous spatial geometric analysis of the elevation discrepancy in mining roadways, face mining length, and pseudo-inclined adjustment distance(Δl),the relationship between pseudo-inclined adjustment distance and face dip angle was mathematically derived.Furthermore,a rib-side coal cutting method was developed, integrating inclination adjustment and alignment correction processes to maintain constant mining length. The results can provide references for safe and efficient mining in similar working faces.
